·         Mold design, mold making, fabrication of microstructures with UV-LIGA; Experimental studies of the injection molding with micro-structures.
·         Development of a hybrid code combining Hele-Shaw and general Navier-Stokes equations with Control Volume-Finite Element Method (CV-FEM) and Finite Difference Method (FDM);  Simulations of the flow, heat transfer and stresses in injection molding with micro-structures.
·         Particle-tracking analysis and flow visualization. Incorporated a tracer method in the CFD code to simulate the PVC thermal degradation during thin-wall molding.
·         Graduate teaching associate for courses- Advanced Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering Analysis, Chemical Engineering Economy and Strategy.
·         Review of medial-axis based mesh generation methods and adaptive mesh techniques.
