Aussie Rules Football

Australian Rules Football ("footy" or AFL) was really fun to go to. It is
really unlike any other sport, but full contact soccer is the easiest way
of describing it even though that's not an accurate description.

We saw the Melbourne Demons versus the West Coast Eagles.










The football is in yellow, but my camera can't quite home in on action.





A loyal Demons fan celebrates the goal (worth 6 points).















They let about four groups of 6-year olds play Aussie Rules during
halftime. It was hilarious. Even though it is full contact, about a third
of the kids were girls.
