Sydney Jazz Festival
Located in Downtown Sydney


It was great, a fun jazz concert that lasted almost three hours and was completely
free. We got there 4 hours early to get a good spot. We saved a lot of space on
the lawn with two blankets and two twister games. Twister seemed to lose interest
after just one game.





The first three pictures are from when we got there -- four hours before the
start.















In the bottom of the picture you can see the early part of our group --
from left to right: Jordon, Joel, Matt, and Ang. They were playing "500" at this
point, which I really enjoyed playing a lot of. It is like Euchre, but with more
cards, a great game.





The lawn is starting to fill up a bit.





Here are Ang, Gary, and myself. Ang and Gary are from my research group at UNSW.





Here, the concert has started. This picture was to be of our group (now about 8
people) but it is hard to make anyone out except for Joel who is kneeling for some
reason.
